【摘要】:1.1Thisoutlineofinvestigationcoversmulti-pointinterconnectionpowercableassemblies.Theymayconsistofpowercableassemblies,maleandfemalepowercablefittings,panel-mountedpowercable/conductorfittingsandfeeder-tappowercablefittingsusedwithindustrialmachineryinaccordancewiththeNationalFireProtectionAssociationElectricalStandardforIndustrialMachinery,NFPA79.1.2Theseinterconnectionpowercableassembliesareintendedtobeusedinanindustrialenvironmenttodistributethepowertobranchcircuits,includingmotorbranchcircuits,ofindustrialmachinery.1.3Devicescoveredunderthisoutlineofinvestigationareonlyintendedforindooruse,unlessotherwiseidentified.1.4Thepowercableassembliescoveredunderthisoutlineofinvestigationarerated600Vorless.Eachpowercableassembliesandfittingsareratedinvoltsandamperes.Theelectricalratingsaremarked,oneachdeviceoronaflaglabelaffixedtoeachindividualpowercableassembly.1.5Thecableassemblyfittingsandpanel-mountfittingsareintendedtobeinstalledinaccordancewiththemanufacturer’sinstallationinstructions.Thecableassemblyfittingsareintendedtobeassembledormoldedonflexiblecord.Thepowercableassembliesandmatingfittingsarenotintendedtobeusedasasubstituteforthefixedwiringofthebuildingstructure.Thepowercableassembliesandmatingfittingsmaybeconnectedtothefixedwiringofthebuildingstructure;usingafeedertapfittingormale/femalecablefitting.1.6Powercableassembliesandfittingscoveredunderthisoutlineofinvestigationarenotintendedtomakeorinterruptcurrentunderloadconditions.Thesepowercableassembliesandfittingshavebeeninvestigatedtotheirmarkedshort-circuitcurrentrating.Powercableassembliesandfittingsmayspecifyamaximumampererating,typeofovercurrentprotectivedevice,orboth.Unlessotherwisemarked,thepowercableassembliesandfittingsareintendedtobesuppliedfromanovercurrentprotectivedeviceofthemaximumampereratingpermittedbytheRelationshipBetweenConductorSizeandMaximumRatingorSettingofShort-CircuitProtectiveDeviceforPowerCircuitsTable,Table7.2.10.4oftheNationalFireProtectionAssociationElectricalStandardforIndustrialMachinery,NFPA79.1.7Thisoutlineofinvestigationdoesnotcovermale-to-malecableassembliesormulti-outletfittings.1.8Thesedevicesareintendedforuseonlywiththemanufacturer’ssamelineofproductscoveredunderthisoutlineofinvestigation.
