　　【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscoverpressurereliefvalvesintendedforuseinsprinklersystemsforfireprotectionservice.1.2Pressurereliefvalvesareintendedforinstallationinwetpipeautomaticsprinklersystemswhenitisanticipatedthatasignificantincreaseinambienttemperatureofthesprinklerpipingresultsinthemaximumservicepressureofthesprinklersystemexceedingtheintendeddesignpressure.1.3RequirementsforinstallationofthesevalvesareincludedintheStandardofNationalFireProtectionAssociationforSprinklerSystems,NFPA13.1.4Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisOutlineofInvestigation,andthatinvolvesariskoffire,electricshock,orinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingtheappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementsasrequiredtomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisOutlineofInvestigation.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisOutlineofInvestigationisnotjudgedtocomplywiththisOutlineofInvestigation.Whereappropriate,revisionofrequirementsareproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisOutlineofInvestigation.
