【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementsapplytopoweroperateddispensingdevices,rated600Vorless,forusewithDieselExhaustFluid(DEF).Theserequirementsmaybeusedtoevaluateindividualcomponentsofadispensingdeviceasindicatedin1.3forusewithDEF.1.2DispensingdevicescoveredbytheserequirementsareintendedforusewithDEFdefinedasaliquidwith67.5percentdeionizedwaterand32.5percenturea.1.3Inadditiontotheoveralldispensingdevice,andinaccordancewith1.1,theserequirementsshallapplytodevicesthatareusedtoconstructadispensingdevice,includingthefollowing:a)Pumps;b)Meters;c)Strainers;d)Electricallyoperatedvalves(forusewithflammableliquids);e)Hosenozzlevalves;f)Mechanicallyoperatedvalves;g)Hoseassemblies;h)Breakawaycouplings;i)Swivelconnectors,j)Pressurereliefdevices(forusewithflammableliquids);k)Mechanicallineleakdetectors;l)Castingimpregnationmaterials;andm)Gasketsandseals.1.4DispensingdevicesshallbeinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeapplicablerequirementsintheCodeforMotorFuelDispensingFacilitiesandRepairGarages,ANSI/NFPA30AandtheNationalElectricalCode,ANSI/NFPA70.1.5Theserequirementsapplytowiringmethodsusedtoinstallorinterconnectsuchcontrolequipmentwhentheequipmentislocateddirectlyonorwithinthehousingofthedispensingdevice.1.6Theserequirementsdonotapplytocontrolequipmentthatmayauthorize,monitor,orinterruptoperationofapower-operateddispensingdevice,norotherauxiliaryequipment.TheseproductswouldbecoveredundertheStandardforControlEquipmentforUseWithFlammableLiquidDispensingDevices,UL1238.1.7Theserequirementsdonotcoverdispensingdevicesforusewithanyfluidotherthanasdescribedin1.2.
