Remove the specimens from the oven and cool to the room temperature in a desiccator over anhydrous calcium chloride for a period of at least 5 h for specimens 7 mm [0.25 in.] or under in thickness, and at least 15 h for specimens over 7 mm in thickness, immediately prior to testing.
